Mr. Frayne Kyte

Mr. Frayne Kyte, DSCKE's International French Language teacher and ball hockey coach participated in the 2018 Canada Games for the Deaf in Winnipeg, Manitoba last year.

He and his family of three brothers, two nieces and three nephews are all legally deaf and formed Team Kyte to compete against teams from across Canada in the Ice Hockey event at the Games. They went undefeated in the tournament and captured the gold medal. Mr. Kyte is also a former Canadian Men's Deaf Olympic Hockey Team member that won Canada's first gold medal in the 14th Winter World Games for the Deaf in Davos, Switzerland.
