Deputy Principal (Elementary)

Mr. Morrison has more than 20 years’ experience as an Ontario certified teacher, school administrator, education advisor, and regional education officer (with ICT specialization). He served as a teacher in Ontario (Canada) and teacher/Senior Leadership Team member in Tokyo (Japan) before joining Delia School of Canada (Hong Kong) in 2013 and serving as Deputy Principal of either the Elementary or Secondary sections since then.  

In terms of educational background, Mr. Morrison has earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from the University of Guelph, a Master of Arts (Political Science) from McGill University, a Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto, and a Master of Business Administration from Keele University (UK) with a specialization in Education Leadership. Mr. Morrison also holds the credentials of a fully qualified Principal from the province of Ontario. As a believer in lifelong learning, he is currently working towards a Certificate in School Management and Leadership from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education.  He has had academic articles on leadership studies published in leading education journals.  

On a personal note, Mr. Morrison originates from Ottawa, Ontario. He has been married for more than 25 years to his wife Natalia and has one son who is a graduate of Delia School of Canada and who is currently studying at the University of Toronto. In his free time, Mr. Morrison enjoys travelling and photography.
