It was very exciting to see the return of the students for the new year and we are off to a successful start.  October 1st is a Holiday for National Day.  We begin the month with our Extracurricular Activities starting Thursday the 3rd.  We have 42 ECA clubs this year in Elementary, as well as 5 varsity teams, so be sure to sign up if you haven’t already!  Please note that there will be no ECA’s during the week of October 21-25.  Monday, October 7th will be a holiday for the Chung Yeung Festival.  On Friday, the 11th we will have a parent workshop at 2:00 pm in the Auditorium.

The always exciting DSC Fun Fair will be held on Saturday, October 12th.  Families are invited to take part in the fun from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.  On Thursday the 31st, we will have our Hallowe’en Costume Parade where it is always fun to see what students and teachers have chosen to dress up as.  Everyone have a wonderful October!
